ON-AIR VIDEO: Tornado Couple Finds Mementos Miles Away
A Magee couple who lost their home in last week's tornado has some more of their precious mementos back thanks to an unlikely scavanger. Check it out in my latest story! We finished shooting it at 7:42 p.m. We were an hour away from the station. I picked some soundbites, voiced my part and edited the whole thing all in an hour on the laptop computer while we were driving back to the station. It was intense, but got on the air just in the nick of time. The miracles of television!

As surrounding cities ban pit bulls and other dangerous dogs, the city of Pearl is seeing a lot more of them. I go on patrol with animal control officers about the problem. Glad my dog is a good one!
