VIDEO INCLUDED: Church Fire Injures Firefighter

Just as I was about to leave for the night on Sunday at about 9:30, reports of a church fire came over our scanners. I grabbed a photographer and hustled out the door and we were the first at the scene of a church fire. First, it was heavy smoke, then the steeple was in flames. No one was inside, but a firefighter was injured. He seemed to be doing okay when we left. Check out one of my more interesting VIDEO stories here in Jackson. It's just 10 days til the November election and Mississippi's U.S. Senate race is getting national attention as one of the three closest races in the country. Saturday, I spoke one-on-one with both candidates in a rare scenario where the two were campaigning in the same place...the Jackson State University homecoming football game. The economy is in a huge slump...that's obvious. I found out how the economy is impacting travel to high school football road games. Even thought gas prices have fallen considerably, football families are still having to cut corners during tough times in order to make sure they can attend their kids' games. Check out the video!

Hey all!

It's been a month, I know. I'm finally getting around to updating my page. Below are 3 new video stories to check out.
