Just as I was about to leave for the night on Sunday at about 9:30, reports of a church fire came over our scanners. I grabbed a photographer and hustled out the door and we were the first at the scene of a church fire. First, it was heavy smoke, then the steeple was in flames. No one was inside, but a firefighter was injured. He seemed to be doing okay when we left. Check out one of my more interesting VIDEO stories here in Jackson.
